The Cove

smbw’s 54,000 SF mixed-use building located in Richmond’s historic Manchester neighborhood.

The Cove gets its name from Manchester’s naval history, where streets are named after notable naval commanders such as Isaac Hull. The building is a bar that spans Hull Street and turns the corner at 6th street, allowing for surface level parking to be concealed behind the building, and to allow for daylighting on the back side of the bar and the residential units in the adjacent property.
