Signature

Bringing transparency, collaboration, and professionalism to Signature’s operations.

Transparency, collaboration and a classically forward brand were the intents of Signature’s vision as they renovated the corporate headquarter office to the World Trade Center building in Norfolk, VA. The nationally renowned wealth management firm specializes in private and family clientele, most of which are first generation wealth generators. Their clients enjoy a highly interactive and accessible relationship with Signature’s team.

APPROACH

To promote transparency of staff and resources as well as capitalizing on the panoramic views of Norfolk’s harbor; all offices were pulled off the window line and constructed from glass partitions to create an open line of sight. Visitors and team members relish the expansive views and natural light throughout the entire office. The corner glass office, traditionally prime corporate real estate in this building, was reimagined as the company café and lounge used for hospitality events and breaks.

To convey Signature’s flat management philosophy and values, a standard open workstation solution was developed for the entire staff. Dedicated collaborative lounges within each team allow for group meetings and sharing of information. The finish palette was a visual extension of Signature’s new brand identity. Richly colored textiles and natural materials conveyed a classic yet modern elegance.
