Role Description

smbw's paid internship program provides an immersive learning experience with hands-on opportunities on active projects. Our culture of teaching and mentorship is long-standing and we value the contribution and perspectives students bring to the studio. At smbw, interns join actual project teams with the responsibilities of a Junior-Level Architect.

Responsibilities

Gain insight into the client’s vision and contribute to delivering a design that meets their goals.

Work independently while collaborating with the team—ask questions, seek feedback, and stay engaged.

Research project-related topics and present clear, concise summaries that support design decisions.

Attend client and consultant meetings to support the team.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited program, majoring in architecture or interior design.

Ability to work full-time during our 12-week paid internship program (May- August 2021).

Working knowledge in Revit required (Sketch-Up, InDesign, and Adobie Creative Suite are helpful).
