Role Description
Our paid internship program provides an immersive learning experience with hands-on opportunities on active projects. Our culture of teaching and mentorship is long-standing and we value the contribution and perspectives students bring to the studio. At smbw, interns join actual project teams with the responsibilities of a Junior-Level Architect.
Responsibilities
Attend project team meetings to develop and implement thoughtful design solutions.
Develop architectural concepts and schemes.
Creatively and interactively present design concepts and ideas.
Conduct project, jobsite, code, and precedent research.
Work on design documentation, details, and assembly of a full Construction Document set.
Using Revit, InDesign, and SketchUP to produce high-quality drawings and renderings.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited program, majoring in architecture, engineering, or interior design.
Strong graphic and design skills.
Working knowledge in Revit required (Sketch-Up, InDesign, and AutoCAD are helpful).
Ability to work well collaboratively and independently.
